 Ritual Exodia

I told Wynn about this deck a while ago, so I thought I'd go ahead and post it here. If I had the cards for it, this would be the Exodia deck I'd make in real life. Problem is, it was demolished when Sangan got banned, and so I'd like some opinions on what I could replace it with.

3x Monster Reincarnation
1x One Day of Peace
1x Pot of Avarice

If you can't tell what I'm doing here, it's dumping Exodia pieces in the Graveyard for Advanced Ritual Art and adding them back to my hand with Dark Factory and Monster Reincarnation, while also summoning powerful Ritual monsters to the field and attacking my opponent, thus pressuring offensively and defensively. Sangan was perfect, as always, since he usually searched for the head. But again, I would appreciate it if people could offer suggestions about how to keep this deck to the current format Smile

How often do you use Monster Reincarnation to get back the non-pieces?

If it's a lot, then with Sangan -1 Reincarnation +2 Dark Eruption. If its just a little, -2 Reincarnation +3 Dark Eruption.

Gives you more ways to get all the pieces without having to minus yourself.

Actually while we're at it I kinda want to say to try -2 Guide +2 Armageddon Knight. More Eruption targets, and honestly none of the rank-3s look all that useful here to me. Plus without Sangan you're pretty horribly limited to how effective Guide will be now, and it gives you other ways to quickly get the head. (dump + Eruption retrieval)


If you want to be crazy, Chaos Necromancer might be a pretty decent tech choice depending on how fast you can fill the grave. Dark Eruption target that can pretty easily go past 1500 ATK and all.

Well there are a lot of targets actually. First of all, I can retrieve any particular Ritual monster I want to play again. But another reason I use it is to reuse my Fairys once Herald of Perfection is on the field. In particular Manju can only be recycled with this card, since the rest are Normal monsters. I can see why Dark Eruption is better for the pieces, though, so I will try your suggestion there.

I agree that Tour Guide is not very good without Sangan, but I don't really like Armageddon Knight in this build either. It's too weak and unsupported, frankly, and it wastes a Normal Summon where I would rather use Manju. Plus, I do enjoy sitting on a Wind-Up Zenmaines while my opponent struggles to get around it. And by taking out the Tour Guides, I would probably have to take out the Dark King of the Abysses as well.

That's actually not a terrible idea. Of course, you tell me this after I trade away all 3 that I had Razz
