This forum's goal is to unity Charmer fans arround the world and make the Charmers popular.
If the officials noticed our community, I hope they understand our love with Charmers ^_^
Hopefully, KONAMI release the Charmers support cards. But, that's not the only thing I wish. It would be interesting if the Charmers' original designer create a story about them. It can be a novel, a manga, or an anime.
But, still, it sounds impossible.

Anyway, even we can't achieve our goal, at least we already try our best and show our love against Charmers.

So, Charmer fans here, I hope you guys don't mind if you tell your friends about the existence of this forum ^_^

First i want to ask, why not a doujin? Maeby there is something on internet... i mean, i have heard about a event that gather's thousans of amateur artist in japan two time's per year? with lucky there may be somethig.

I will look for something like that, there is a little chanse that some sort of comic about the charmers exist.

By the way, in my later post i mention about some ideas to get people in this forum, this is one that maeby help, go to facebook or twinter or myspace, search an oficial page of yu-gi-oh! and post in it the existence of this forum. In the best cases we can create a page on facebook about this forum or something.

I will help if i can in all you may need (exept for write something, my english suck's)

Ayai-chan, the creator of that group ever registered there, but then banned.
And the one who promote our forum in that group is one of the member in that group, he's our member too. His username here is Natsuhiko (thanks to him already promote our forum).
And, I'm also didn't want to join that group because of several reasons, including the one you said, that's not a Yugioh GX Judai fanbase group.

And, Wiseman, thank you for your intention for making this forum got more attention.
Too bad i don't even tempted to make an account for Twitter, Myspace, etc...

Well, it's not like i can do much, most of the people that i know only speak spanish... and i just figurate now that one of the facebook groups that i post it's a spanish one... ahhh my head is working in two diferents language.

I think I can do something for this group, if you want my help, I'll do my best to promote this group, but we have to work on the forum's image first. I'll gladly help you out with the GFX of the forum, Charmers are my favorite cards on yugioh and I currently run a very agressive Charmer-Element Deck, an incredibly good anti-meta Wynn deck, a highly competitive Eria-Absolute Zero Deck and my newest creation, the Lightfairy-Raina Beatdown Deck XD

I'll start working on some GFX for the forum as soon as I can repair my computer's charger or steal somebody's laptop XD

Well now that you mention it, in the chat box was a discution about the banner on the top of the forum, and make a contest or someting to selec the new banner... but it state in nothing .-.U...

I'll try to come up with something by next wednesday, mainly because I'll have to use school's PCs to help me out with image editing XD

Well, about the banner we actually only lack of Lyna picture. This banner's artwork is done by my friend and i ask her to draw it before Lyna was released.

So, if anyone gonna make a new one, just give us a proof that you already got a permission from the original artist if you use fanart image.
Using official Charmer artwork isn't more troubling cause you don't need to ask permission to anyone to use it. The problem is, to find a high quality image stock for the banner. And if you using a image stock (besides the official Charmer card artwork) that wasn't done by you, you also need to ask permission to the one who made it.

anyway, even without Lyna, I think our current banner already good, so, for the new one, try to make it looks better than our current banner.

Well, I must say your friend's artwork is very good, I may not be able to match it, but I'm sure that if I can get some of your friend's original artwork, I'll be honored to make a banner for the forum.

By the way, what about the appereance of the forum, I mean the actual Theme. How about changing it a little so it matches with the Charmer themed forum. I might as well suggest designing titles for the members of the forum. With this, I'm saying that instead of the Stars, we could use another type of image for the titles, maybe charmers like Lyna for the "New Charmer" title, etc.

wait? what "charmer's theme forum"?

Well, what I meant with the Theme is that we can change the forum's theme to match the forum's escence, here is an example: Toon World Academy.

As you can see, there are lots of details that make the forum's theme match the forum's escence, like the top banner that already has the Forum's name on it so they don't have to use the forumotion default fonts for the forum's name. Also, please take a look at the threads and their current states (new messages, no new messages, forum closed). I would as well make a note for the threads' images (Rules, News, etc) that are made specially for each thread on the forum. Finally, take a look at the sidebar on the right, there you can find the top posters, chatbox, your avatar and statistics if you're registered to the forum, latest news, affiliates and current polls.

As for the titles, there is a different colour for each title, these titles are gained based on your dueling skills, activity on the forum, etc.

I know there are customizable titles for the members that are defined by the administrators of the forum, and maybe I didn't explain myself correctly on that part. What I was saying is that we could use Lyna's image for the "New Charmer" title instead of the stars, then when members rank up, the Title Image would be Dharc and so on.

Nah, i don't like that kind of website, too much link's means slow load for some ones, i like more the simple one's with this PHPBB.

I'll make some banners so you can check them out and I think it would be a good idea to use an edited official Charmer pic, like Kirikaze's badge on a banner that says: "New Charmer" or something, that way you can know the level of the forum member.

And I'm suggesting this just to make the forum look cooler or just more aesthetic, I'll make a sample, but please give me until wednesday because my laptop's charger literally exploded and I'd have to use school's PCs to design the banner.

My idea was using this kind of "banners" instead of the stars indicating the user's rank. ^^

If you don't like it, I thought about another thing. This afternoon I was thinking that we could use the Familiars of the Charmers instead of the stars, we could use for example Petit Dragon, Fox Fire, Archfiend Marmot, Gigobyte and Medabat, but only the silhouettes, when the member gets enough points or posts enough things on the forum to get 1 star, the silhouette of one of the familiar would be revealed, for example you see Petit Dragon and other four silhouettes of the other familiars etc.

It's freesh and nice but, the image will be soo tinny?

That new charmer image is too big, but I kinda agree with the familiars silhouettes.

five is just incomplete, so, we will have six familiars, meaning there'll be six levels there.
